Enabling Integration with Document Management
- From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Administrator Tools tab.
- In the Settings section, click Forms Designer.
Result: The Forms Designer window is displayed.
- Click Form > Open.
Result: The Open Form list is displayed.
- Enter CHGM_PLN_VERIFY_PLANNING in the search field at the bottom of the form list.
- Click the CHGM_PLN_VERIFY_PLANNING form.
Result: The form is displayed.
- Double click on Select To Change in the 4th section down on the form.
Result: The CHGM_PLN_SUB_POLICY form is displayed. This is a sub form of the CHGM_PLN_VERIFY_PLANNING form.
- Click in the CP_POL_GRACE_PERIOD section of the form.
Result: The properties for that section of the form are displayed on the right side of the window.
- In the Behavior section, click the Hidden drop down button and select No.
Result: This specifies that the field will now be visible in the form.
- Click Form > Save. Click the Ok button.
- Click Lifecycle > Publish.
- Enter your UserId and Password. Click the Ok button.
- Click the Ok button.
- Close the sub form window.
Result: The CHGM_PLN_VERIFY_PLANNING form is displayed.
- Click Form > Save. Click the Ok button.
- Click Lifecycle > Publish.
- Enter your UserId and Password. Click the Ok button.
- Click the Ok button.
Result: The edited form is published and the Integrate with Document Management policy is now available in the Define Change Plan window.
- Close the Forms Manager window to return to the SmartSolve application.
NOTE: This form may contain a number of sections which point to more sub forms which contain all of the sections a form. See the Studio Designer Help System for additional information about modifying existing form fields and publishing changes.
